Societys View on Mental Health
When people hear or learn about a person who has a psychological condition, most often than not, they consider these people to be threats to society. People immediately think that a person with a mental condition will hurt everyone that gets in their way. Thus, people tend to avoid such individuals; isolating them and making them feel much worse about their illness. However, people can learn to be more resilient and tolerant of such conditions if they are kept informed about the different stages and kinds of mental conditions. That is why there are several groups and organisations that help educate people about these matters. Moreover, society is trying to make up for lost time and start building hope for all of the people who have special needs, especially innocent children.
